In the wake of covid-19 surge in the
country particularly the National Capital Delhi, the Government has called off
physical classes for the present session. As teachers and parents, one of the
biggest challenges everyone is facing right now is how to manage studies along
with keeping kids safe during the covid-19 pandemic. Some regions in Delhi are
experiencing widespread transmission of this virus and therefore schools in
Rohini Delhi and in other containment areas have been completely shut.
As a result, Education has changed
dramatically, with the distinctive rise of e-learning concepts in major schools
of Delhi namely G D Goenka, St. Angel’s Rohini, Tagore International, DPS and others.
Teaching is now being undertaken remotely and on different digital platforms.
Such a sudden shift away from the
classrooms have impacted everyone in different ways, be it teachers, students,
management department of the schools or parents. But the new concept of online
classes is undoubtedly the need of the hour.
How
online classes are the need of the hour, here are some reasons:

students and teachers stay safe without discounting learning and education. The
new ways of teaching like GoogleMeet, Zoom app, Teems, impartus and other
online platforms are helping schools to take up teaching, allowing students to
learn, share and adapt to the new method.
2.
Online learning is not just
helping the students become tech savvy but also leading them to surprising
innovations. Students are gradually learning computers at an early age with the
evolution.
Some
precautions students must take while reentering the schools:
Social
distancing: It reduces close contact between
people, limiting the risk of getting infected with the deadly virus. Remind
your kids not to share food, drinks and other stuff with their friends to stay
safe.
Wearing
a mask: In the school environment, where maintain
social distancing is tough, students should be reminded of wearing double masks
all the time to stay protected.
Washing
hands at regular and frequent intervals: You may
often touch any contaminated surface when out, so it is advised to keep washing
hands and avoid spreading virus to your eyes, nose or mouth.
Conclusion
The situation we’re all stuck in has
changed way we used to do a lot of things but one thing that hasn’t changed is
the important of maintaining well-being and staying healthy. With the schools in Rohini
Delhi and other areas offering the option of online learning, gives
everyone a chance to stay safe while still learning and moving ahead in the
